By visiting this website and / or purchasing something from us you “engage” in our service and agree to be bound by the terms and conditions listed below from points below.

The terms and conditions found here apply to all courses purchased through the following training schools and academy’s. These terms of business form part of the contract that comes into force once a student enrols onto any of our courses. You are unable to go through our enrolment process without reading, signing and confirming you agree in full to our terms and conditions.

1. The NLP Coaching Company

1.1 Use of Websites covered by these terms and conditions

All bookings are subject to the terms and conditions found here. Please ensure you familiarise yourself with our terms and conditions and if in doubt call our head office on 01462 431112 prior to booking. When you book a course you enter into a contract which is subject to certain conditions and restrictions outlined below. By interacting with our website and making a written or verbal approach to our academy you accept our terms and conditions.

We reserve the right to change our terms and conditions from time to time so advise you to regularly check our website to ensure you are up to date with any changes.

1.3 Your Financial Commitment – Face to Face, Virtual Live and Online Courses

We thoroughly recommend you complete a full personal financial health check and ensure you have at least 6 months salary as a reserve to act as an emergency fund should any unforeseen problems arise such as illness, redundancy, etc.

We recommend you have this emergency fund in place prior to booking any course with us, especially for online and international students, as the third party Teachable payment gateway do not offer a cancellation policy or payment holidays. If in any doubt please call us on 01462 431112 to discuss prior to booking.

We reserve the right to add modules to your selected course, after you have enrolled but will always give you the option to include this in your existing course syllabus or not depending on your preference. This will be at no cost to you. We guarantee to write to you within 4 weeks of any changes.

1.4 Student Standards & Ethics

We take our responsibility of training and certifying professional life coaches very seriously as all our CAM coaches go on to work with members of the public in their private coaching practices.

It is therefore of paramount importance standards of student ethics, morals and behaviour are very high.

We therefore reserve the right to refuse admittance or un enrol any student that evidences poor conduct, un ethical, failure to disclose important and relevant information or unprofessional behaviour during the induction, enrolment, and on any of our courses.

If this occurs each case will be considered on a case by case basis but students may forego their deposits and or course fees. A full disclosure of any criminal convictions or previous mental health illnesses must be fully disclosed before enrolling onto any of our courses

1.5 Virtual live courses your responsibility for IT to take part

Please ensure you have adequate internet services to allow you to access the live weekend trainings, plus have the appropriate hardware including computer, laptop, bowser etc.

We are unable to accept any responsibility for any students who are unable to access the live trainings due to, in adequate internet connection or hardware problems. It is your responsibility to make sure you are prepared for every training.

1.6 Our Contract

As we are an International Academy and many students book courses over the telephone the contract between us commences when you request a place on a specific course and we accept your request and confirm your place. This can be a verbal agreement during our pre course 121 student / tutor course consultation, over the telephone or by written confirmation, or direct booking through the website

Our contract comes into force once a student enrols onto any of our courses. You are unable to go through our enrolment process without reading, signing and confirming you agree in full to our terms and conditions. A hard copy of these terms and conditions will also be sent to you for completion, signature and return.

2. Payment Plans

Training: Payment Plan Agreements
TERMS OF THE AGREEMENT

A “Payment Plan” is an option which allows the student to stagger their payments for a course over a set period of time. Once the student has entered into this form of payment this cannot be cancelled. No refunds are made. This is NOT a Subscription, it is a plan allowing the student to stagger payments having agreed to the financial contract of a Payment Plan.

The money (detailed on your transaction and receipt) will be paid in a series of payments, via your credit/debit card, as outlined in your transaction, and the specific terms of the agreement.

By purchasing a product with payment plan terms, you hereby authorize The NLP Coaching Company Ltd to charge these installments to your credit card and further understand and agree: that this payment is non-refundable; not to dispute this charge under any circumstance or in any manner with your bank or any merchant processor; and, that your purchase is subject to the Company’s terms and conditions.

In the event of default of the agreed repayment terms, you accept liability for all costs incurred by the NLP Coaching Company in recovery due to your breach of the agreed repayment terms. Such costs may include, but not be limited too, a Letter Before Action, Debt Collection Agents fees, Interest and Late Payment Compensation per Invoice of £50.00 + vat. You also acknowledge and agree that a default in payment shall result in the suspension of your access to the course until your account is made current.

Payments

You agree to pay any applicable surcharge on payments made by credit card.

Unless otherwise stated, all amounts shown on our website are in GBP. The currency and amount will be displayed before you make your payment. We do not store your financial information on our platform.

Our third party service provider, Stripe, will store your details and will use these details for each successive billing period. We are not responsible for your data with Stripe. If you have any concerns about your data, you should check the privacy policy for Stripe here: https://stripe.com/gb/privacy

If you choose to to pay via a Payment Plan option the full course accreditation will only be granted once you have paid your course fees in full. If you default against your payment plan the course fees will need to be paid in full prior to you being re enrolled in the course.

Your payments will be due monthly on the same day as you enrolled. If your payment fails and we need to re apply for your payment a £50 admin fee plus vat will be charged and if your payments is still rejected you will be liable for all outstanding course fees plus an admin fee of £150.00 within 7 days from the date the final attempt to take your payment is rejected.

This admin fee covers all admin incurred by the debt excluding legal costs. This may be claimed additionally

We reserve the right to apply admin fees to your account for the time spent in letters and emails whilst trying to reclaim outstanding course fees.

We would always recommend you talk any financial problems through with us as we will offer as much support as se can within the terms of our terms of business. If in any doubt please call 01462 431112 to discuss before committing to any financial commitments prior to committing to any of our programmes.

3.1 Course Prices

Course prices were re issued on 01/01/23 and over ride any previous pricing structure or previous published pricing including early bird , bulk booking and full course prices. The NLP Coaching company reviews its prices regularly to ensure are courses offer value for money and are in line with competitors and market conditions. We reserve the right to alter prices at our own discretion.

3.2 Course Prices – Promotions

The NLP Coaching Co reserve the right to change course pricing with reference to course promotions and various early bird discounted periods. The price you will be asked to pay will be current at time of booking and may change post booking subject to availability. Once receipted your price is guaranteed and will not change.

We reserve the right to modify, cancel and limit any promotion or offer. We reserve the right to refuse providing offers and/or promotions to particular individuals or organisations at our discretion.

4. Course Venue

We run our courses from the following venues

- Life Practice Head Office. Hitchin Herts

- Live Virtually from the comfort of your own home or work

4.1 Course trainers

We work on a span of control of 1 qualified trainer to 8 students. Our training executive consists of carefully selected expert trainers and in line with our span of control standards we can guarantee you will work with 1 or more of our trainers as follows. Bobby-Jo Bottomley, Karen Shields, Monica Black, Hayley Austin, Mark Shields. We are unable to guarantee specific individual trainers per course however can assure students all of our trainers are amongst the best in the world and have been hand picked by the life practice group.

5. Length of our Courses

- NLP Practitioner – Our scheduled face to face courses last 6 days – 50 face to face training hours.

- The Integrated NLP, Hypnotherapy and Coaching Diploma The full diploma lasts 20 days and includes 600 training hours with 140 face to face training course split over 2 modules Scheduled dates can be found on our websites. 100 hours additional learning is gained from completing the CAM COACH success in business course bundled with this course free

- The Hypnotherapy Professional Practitioner – 7 consecutive days – 70 hours face to face training, 110 hours correspondence study.

- The Hypnotherapy Bridge Foundation Diploma – 25 hours, 3 days face to face training. 60 hours pre course work.

- Virtual courses practitioner 72 hours live training on zoom

- Virtual course masters 72 hours live training on zoom

6.1 How to book a course

You can book direct from our website. This ensures you are in agreement with our terms and conditions at the time of booking. In addition you can email us at info@thenlpcoachingcompany.com or call our booking team on 01462 431112. We will forward you our short course application form and payment agreement if you are paying using our free payment plan.

Once completed and returned together with course payment or minimum of 25% non refundable deposit we will confirm your place on the course. You can also book direct on our website by pressing the “Buy Now” button which will automatically reserve your course place for a non refundable deposit of £600.00

7.1 Gaining access to your student portal

As soon as you’ve successfully enrolled you will receive a confirmation email enclosing a link to your student portal found on the academy website. You will need to have the google browser google chrome for optimum performance. If you choose to use another browser you will not receive optimal functionality and may not be able to access your course. Please ensure you utilise the google chrome browser before commencing your course.

8.0 Accommodation

Your accommodation is not covered under these terms and conditions outside of our agreed delegate room rate. You are responsible for your behaviour during your stay at your Hotel and you must settle any outstanding room bills prior to your departure. Any complaints from the hotel staff about any of our delegates will be investigated in full. If your behaviour is deemed inappropriate during your stay you may be asked to leave the course and will not receive any refund of course fees.

9.0 Cancellation & Refunds

We recommend you read and understand our Terms of Business prior to booking onto any of our courses. If in any doubts please email info@thenlpcoachingcompany.com

We offer and recommend a free pre-course consultation to answer all your questions and give you the opportunity to meet us prior to you booking on any of our courses.

As we run small intimate in person and virtual courses the following cancellation policy applies to avoid late cancellations and allow our courses to always run when scheduled to.

The NLP Coaching Company’s refund policy follows the Consumer Contracts Information Regulation 2013 for cancellations.

For all our face to face / Live virtual scheduled courses the following conditions apply. This policy is to protect our students as we run small groups and last minute cancellations by students can affect the overall running of the course as we are unable to re sell places at this late stage.

- Where at least 6 months’ notice is given and a valid reason is given we offer a 100% refund less deposit paid.

- Where at least 5 months notice is given and a valid reason is given we refund 50% of your course fees minus your deposit which is £600 + vat

- When at least 4 months’ notice is given with a valid reason we refund 25% minus deposit.

- Where under 3 months or under no refund is given, this is done solely to protect remaining courses delegates as we teach in small groups and this allows us to continue with the course when students cancel last minute.

- All deposits paid at time of booking are non refundable unless they fall within the cooling off period.

- We do not offer refunds or part refunds to students that wish to discontinue their training with us part way through an online virtual or face to face training.

- Where students book within the zero cancellation policy e.g. within the 3 months leading up to a course if they cancel after booking no refund is given.

- Please note we are unable to offer refunds to students who cancel their course within 8 weeks of course commencement.

- The deposit taken at the time of booking £600 +VAT is non refundable.

- Third Party Courses – If you enrol on a third party course (live virtual transformational coaching diploma with Hayley Austin, mindfulness teacher, NNRT, talking therapies, ) if you cancel your course we will be unable to provide a refund due to fees due and paid to the course owners

- Our contract comes into force once a student enrols onto any of our courses. You are unable to go through our enrolment process without reading, signing and confirming you agree in full to our terms and conditions. A hard copy of these terms and conditions will also be sent to you for completion, signature and return.

- There is a payment deadline where when requesting to transfer your course to a new date of 4 weeks from the date the transfer is formally requested. If you request to cancel your course after requesting a course transfer cancellations terms and conditions will apply from the date you requested your original course transfer

9.1 Cancellation Corporate Bookings

For corporate bookings a 50% non refundable deposit will be required to book your place and the balance due 14 days before the training has been completed.

If you need to reschedule your course due to unforeseen corporate emergency’s we will do our best to accommodate you. If you require to cancel normal cancellation terms apply found above.

We are unable to offer a refund or reschedule your course if your request is within 8 weeks of your course commencement

9.2 Third Party request for audits or post course audit / compliance reviews. We do not partake in any third party supplier audits post course without our students written permission due to GDPR and confidentiality regulations. If we do obtain permission a charge of £250 plus vat will be made to the third party organisation requesting details.

9.3 Deposits We collect a non refundable deposit of £600 + vat to secure your booking on all our in person and virtual courses. Please note this is a non refundable deposit. As we run small groups once you have paid your deposit of £600 we are unable to refund this under any circumstances. This is to protect the remaining students on the course as we run small groups of no more than 12 students.

Deposits however can be transferred to different courses with the agreement of the NLP Coaching Co. Please note to do this all fees must be paid in full.

9.4 Cooling off period

Where students change their mind within 14 days of booking their course they are entitled to a refund. As we are an international school our contract comes into force when you verbally request to enrol on a course and we verbally accept you and register you place. The cooling off period commences on the day that your booking is accepted, when your contract comes into force.

9.5A Modular charges when cancellation requested

As services are provided during the cooling off period and the course is open from day 1 (students have access to full course material ) a charge will be made where students cancel within the 14 days cooling off period for services provided. For face to face training courses this is £495 plus vat per course. This charge is made in any situation where cancellation is requested and modules have been completed or started. The student portal will confirm how far you are into your course at any given time.

Please note when requesting cancellation within the cooling off period please email legal@lifepractice.co.uk. Requests via phone or text will not be accepted as we cannot guarantee receipt. The cooling off period begins when you confirm your wish to attend a course and are accepted onto a course. This can be verbally, or on email

9.5B No shows on scheduled in person and virtual courses

If you fail to arrive for your in person training or your live virtual course we will treat your absence as you cancelling your course therefore cancellation terms will apply for all no shows.

9.6A Additional charges incurred

Change of course date £150.00 + VAT

Invoice reminders / final reminder £150.00 + VAT

Modules started and a cancellation is requested and agreed £495.00 per module.

Where students request duplicate certificates a charge is made of £7.50 + VAT per certificate and accreditation certificates ACCPH £50.00 + VAT. This is to cover admin time. All original certification is paid for by the academy

Missed payments on payment plans £50 + vat

9.7 Face to Face Training / In Person / Live Virtual

Students gain full access to course material, course manuals, course materials, immediately upon booking as the course is open for pre course work to be completed.

Our face to face courses are split into 3 parts.

- Pre course work

- On course attendance

- Post course work

Please note where students have entered the course and began studying and then subsequently change their mind we are unable to give refunds. If this happens within the cooling off period an admin charge of £495 plus vat GBP per module will be charged to cover admin, cancellation charges, student place recruitment and the course materials accessed during this period. This applies to all our courses face to face and online.

Please note the above cancellation policy does not apply to students that have changed of deferred their course training dates

Once the cooling off period has expired our cancellation policy will apply.

10.1 Changing your course date

If you wish to cancel your training course please refer to point 9 of our terms and conditions.

If you wish to change your course date to a later course date the nlp coaching co will make every effort to place you on the next available course. We cannot guarantee this and each request will be dealt with on a case by case basis. We cannot sanction any course transfers within 8 weeks of the original course commencement due to the small groups of students we run

The maximum time for any course transfer or deferment is 2 years from the date you signed up for the first course

Too do this course fees must be paid in full and will be subject to a 150.00GBP plus vat course transfer fee.

Please be aware if you cancel your course booking in the unlikely event we are unable to transfer you to another course you will lose your course deposit and fees.

Where multi course parts and modules are booked at the same time the cancellation period begins on the first day of booking for the first course for all courses.

Where students have secured an early bird booking deal the course fees will be due 8 weeks before the commencement of the original course and where course dates are deferred or changed the course fees must be paid in full before a change can be made.

If if you request to change your course for personal or sickness reasons you must confirm your new preferred course date with us within 4 weeks of originally advising use of the change. If you fail to do so cancellation terms will apply. A £150 + vat will be due within 4 weeks from the date the transfer was requested. You will be invoiced accordingly and 1 reminder will be sent. Failure to pay this within the time limits will result in your transfer request to be cancelled. We will write and confirm to the home address you gave us when you enrolled. If you request to cancel your course after requesting a course transfer cancellations terms and conditions will apply from the date you requested your original course transfer

10.2 Cancellation due to being unable to travel due to sickness, weather, public transport cancellations.

Please note we are unable to offer any refunds within 8 weeks of a course commencement

We will always do our very best to make up time during the week if students are late due to un foreseen weather conditions or illness or unable to travel. If a students misses the entire course due to last minute illness or the inability to travel due to weather conditions we will do our best to book you onto another course subject to availability. No refunds are given.

You will be responsible for all cancellation and curtailment costs including hotel accommodation, additional travel costs, the rebooking of hotel rooms and travel arrangements.

For course deferment due to illness we will assist wherever possible and book you onto our next suitable course. A course transfer fee of £150 + VAT will apply. We will also allow you to complete your diploma from home if you are to unwell to attend virtually or in person. We will offer you to complete your diploma with full support and at no additional cost if you choose this option. You must confirm your attendance and dates on your deferred course within 4 weeks of differing your course. Failure to do so will result in cancellation terms being applied as at the initial deferment date and course.

If you are upgrading we will invoice you for any balance and this must be paid 4 weeks before new course commencement.

NLP Coaching Co takes no responsibility for delays, disruptions, and cancellations in any form of public transport. This applies, in the periods leading up to a course, whilst on a course and post course.

If you decide to leave a course early due to poor weather conditions, travel disruptions, we are unable to refund you any course fees or book you onto future courses. We will where possible make as much of the material for remaining modules available online.

The NLP Coaching Co are unable to take any responsibility for acts of global terrorism, breakout of viral epidemic, from the moment a student books onto a course right through until course completion.

10.3 In the event of cancellation by the NLP Coaching Company

We will always aim to run our courses as advertised however we reserve the right to cancel any events, webinars, courses as and when circumstances arise outside of our control or when your course is under subscribed.

Courses under subscribed

Under subscribed is when your scheduled course is less than 50% capacity equating to 6 students or less. In these circumstances you will be advised in writing and will receive a guaranteed place on the next course that runs. We are unable to give refunds as we need to protect the remaining delayed students and the running of the next course.

We appreciate your understanding

You will also be offered the opportunity to attend the same course live virtually or online if this is your preference rather than wait for the next course

Force Majuere

A definition of outside of our control means where the NLP Coaching co was unable to run the course due to outside influences that made it not possible to operate as normal.

EXAMPLES –

- Acts of global terrorism

- Unexpected illness of trainer

- Global pandemic

- Government instruction

- Acts of war

- An unsafe environment

- Civil riots and uprisings

- Political events

- Government intervention due to unsafe environment / acts that effect daily life

- Force Majuere

- Multi cancellations due to covid 19

Consumer Protection Act

In these circumstances the NLP Coaching Company team will ensure you are treated fairly and will be not be disadvantaged. We are following the advice given by the competition and marketing authority and will ensure in such times as the NLP Coaching Co has to cancel or postpone a course

You will be offered

- Book you onto the next scheduled course that is running free of charge. If this is not convenient for you your fees will be transferable and you will be able to book onto the next available course that works for you within the next 12 months.

- Enrol you onto the same distance learning version of your course. All our face to face courses are also offered as fully accredited diplomas online. Scope of accreditation, tutor support, and a much bigger syllabus means these courses are more expensive however any additional course fees will be met in full by the NLP Coaching Co. For our integrated NLP, Hypnosis and Life Coaching Diploma exactly the same course, syllabus and accreditation is offered online as well as face to face. The same applies the the same course at masters level.

- Allow you to upgrade your course to a different course free of charge

We will do our very best to book you onto the next available course that meets your date preferences. Once you have formally accepted your place on your re arranged course if you subsequently cancel after you have been accepted and you have confirmed normal cancellation terms and conditions will apply. See clause 9

If further re arranged courses have to be cancelled by the NLP due to the same initial reason for course cancellation, you will be able to rebook onto the course of your choice within the following 12 months.

Please note Where you have paid your non refundable deposit to secure your booking you will need to pay your balance in full to be guaranteed a place in the next available course.

11.1 Course sizes

Your learning experience is our priority. We work on a strict trainer to student span of control / ratio of 1 to 8 for in person courses and up 1 to 30 students on our virtual courses. Therefore course groups tend to be small and focused. Some other providers run large audiences of delegates and can deliver a stage / show style course. Ours is focused learning ensuring each delegate receives the appropriate level of course input and training.

Optimum course numbers are between 12 students for in person courses and up to 20 students for our virtual courses however course numbers can vary in size.

12.1 Copyright

Throughout the course we will take photos and videos and this material will belong to the NLP Coaching Co. We reserve the right to use photos, video clips, testimonials, that are obtained upon any of our courses on our websites, brochures, social media, blogs, articles and marketing material.

If you wish to take photos and videos whilst on your course our currently policy allows this although you will need to check with our trainer and other students at the commencement of your course.

All course material, manuals, videos, documentation is the property of the life practice group and you are prohibited from using any of our material without gaining our permission first. This includes training schedules, course maps and handouts.

Obligations of delegate in terms of confidential material or information received during course trainings. The delegate shall not, without prior written approval of the NLP Coaching Company use, publish, copy, or otherwise disclose to others, or permit the use by others for their benefit or to the detriment of the NLP Coaching Company any Confidential Information.

13.1 Free Post Course Support Integrated Diploma

We offer all students a free post cost CPD via our CAM CLUB for 3 months. For students requiring focused business support we offer a priority place on our 121 Cam Coach Mentoring Program. Click here for details

14. 1 Volunteering for treatment on course exercises

We have a strict duty of care for the mental and emotional wellbeing of all our delegates.

If you are on medication, have suffered mental health issues, or suffered any form of trauma or abuse please refrain from volunteering for any live demonstrations.

This health warning will be shared verbally at the beginning of every course and if you choose to volunteer we take no responsibility for negative outcomes or illness.

We are unable to take responsibility for unexpected health problems or illness following live demonstrations. If in any doubt please discuss the nature of the course you are attending with your GP and the impact course work may have on your mental wellbeing.

A copy of the skill sets to be taught on the course can be made available for your GP. Please put your mental health first.

15.1 Online Courses

To book onto our online courses you will need to either pay your fees in full or pay a 25% non refundable deposit. Depending where you live in the world you can access our online courses and make payment in UK GBP, USA American dollar and Europe payment in euros.

Once you have paid your course fees in full you will gain access to your chosen course. Our online booking system ensures you automatically agree to our course terms and conditions at the point of booking onto any of our courses.

Our contract comes into force once a student enrols onto any of our courses. You are unable to go through our enrolment process without reading, signing and confirming you agree in full to our terms and conditions. A hard copy of these terms and conditions will also be sent to you for completion, signature and return.

Please ensure you are happy with our terms and conditions prior to booking onto any of our online courses. Any questions please discuss with Mark or Karen Shields prior to booking.

We always recommend you have an emergency fund in place of at least 6 months salary before taking on any financial commitments especially for those students paying in instalments via teachable. Please also ensure you read and understand teachable’s FAQS in full before booking a course, as they are unable to offer any refunds or payment holidays once you have enrolled.

If you pay your course fees in full at the commencement of your course our terms and conditions will apply from the moment you pay your course fees in full and enter the course.

If you choose to pay by instalments full course accreditation will only be granted once you have paid your course fees in full.

We thoroughly recommend you complete a full personal financial health check and ensure you have at least 6 months salary as a reserve to act as an emergency fund should any unforeseen problems arise.

For international and students paying in instalments via teachable please ensure you have sufficient funds in place to take care of personal emergencies, redundancy and any unexpected financial burdens etc for at least 6 months as teachable do not offer any cancellation or payment breaks. If in any doubt please call us on 01462431112 to discuss prior to booking to avoid any unnecessary surprises.

Teachable will attempt to take your payment on 4 occasions. If on the 4th attempt your payment fails you will be removed from your course. If you request a payment hiatus you must complete and return a payment hiatus form within 14 days of request.

16.1 Course Assessments

We assess all our students via observation and role play throughout your time with us. We benchmark standards of performance against the UK’S National Occupational Standards across our course core competencies. The core competencies are the same throughout all of our courses they are just measured and examined differently.

Our life practice academy courses are all measured via a range of exams, case studies, course dissertations, role plays, practice sessions, recommended reading, practice client sessions.

With our face to face and virtual training courses the additional KPI’S are assessed via role play, observation and feedback. These KPI’S are

2. Time keeping

3. Teamwork

4. Core knowledge

5. Skill application

6. Personal Conduct

7. Pre course work

Assessments on our face to face training are modular and conducted via role play and case study. If a student is absent for part of a module and we are unable to evidence competent sign off, the student will be required to attend a further assessment day to be arranged with the course supervisor. There will be a charge of 95.00 for a further assessment.

17.1 Existing Health Conditions When Booking.

Please consider any existing health condition you have before booking onto any of our live virtual or in person courses. We run small groups of delegates and to protect this we have a strict cancellation policy in place that may effect you if your condition worsens and you’re unable to attend. Please note clause 9 cancellation policy.

If you have any reservations about your health, especially long term conditions such as ME, CFS, or long term PTSD, Long Covid, abuse and trauma symptoms, please consider your health seriously before you book.

This is of paramount importance and we may recommend the distance learning version of the course as it is self paced learning and be more suitable for you.

Any mental health or long term illnesses must be disclosed ( long term means an illness longer than 3 months at time of enrolment )

Please make yourself aware of our cancellation and refund policy in clause 9. If you opt to pay by instalments and are unwell you will still be liable for your fees.

If your situation deteriorates and you are unable to attend the cancellation policy we have in place to protect the course and remaining groups of students clause 9 will apply

We all want to avoid these situations so our advice is if in any doubt do not commit to a course

We will require evidence of a doctors certificate where transfer due to illness is cited.

We are unable to offer refunds or transfers where a health condition has not been disclosed

Please ensure you fully disclose any health condition that may prevent you from attending the course. We can always agree to book you onto a later course instead in line with your recuperation.

Our contract comes into force once a student enrols onto any of our courses. You are unable to go through our enrolment process without reading, signing and confirming you agree in full to our terms and conditions. A hard copy of these terms and conditions will also be sent to you for completion, signature and return.

18.1 Performance Standards

If a student fails to meet the required standard and the trainers feel they are unable to sign off competency on the last day of the course, a development plan will be issued with areas of development and required improvement explained to the student in full.

19.1 Obtaining our Course Brochure

You can download our course brochure from our website. We will ask you to register your email address however phone numbers are optional as we will only call you if you give us permission

20.1 Early Bird Discounts

We offer an Early Bird Course Price on all our courses. To qualify you need to pay the Early Bird price in full at least 6 weeks days prior to the course start date. From time to time at the company’s discretion the Early Bird offer may be extended to some promotional campaigns or partnerships.

Where students book onto an early bird place and pay their deposit if the balance isn’t made in line with the early bird discount terms and conditions and payment is not made on time the student will be liable for the full course price and invoiced accordingly.

21.1 Scholarships

We offer 4 Scholarships per year of up to 35%. This applies to our NLP Practitioner Course and Life Coaching Intensive, Hypnotherapy Bridge and Part 1 the Practitioner level of our Integrated NLP, Hypnotherapy Coaching Diploma. This doesn’t apply where students are utilising early bird and bundled course discounts

22.1 Refreshments

We supply refreshments in the way of tea, coffee during our mid-afternoon break. Water is available throughout the day. Lunch is excluded.

23.1 Course Code of Conduct & Behaviour

We expect delegates to behave professionally when attending any of our courses. Complaints from hotel staff or fellow delegates will be investigated and may result in you being asked to leave the course. In these circumstances no refund of course fees will be given. It may also affect your certification.

If you also decide to leave during a course we are unable to offer any refund of course fees. If you are experiencing difficulty whilst attending the course please speak to one of the course trainers who will be happy to help.

It is the delegates responsibility to complete all pre course work and be in a position to take part in course role plays, skill sets, skill evaluation and class discussions. If the delegate chooses not to contribute to in class activities, or is absent, or late for classes the NLP Coaching Company cannot be held responsible for any detrimental impact on individual student learning outcomes.

It is the sole responsibility of the delegate to book and settle all hotel bills and personal expenses and refreshments before checking out.

Complaints from hotel or restaurant staff will be treated seriously as coaches need to demonstrate professional behavior at all times. Complaints may stop you getting certified and asked to leave the course.

24.1 Pre-Training Course Consultation

In order to make sure the course is right for the delegate, we offer a free face to face pre-training course consultation with Mark Shields, the lead trainer so you can ask any questions.

25.1 Who to contact for help before, during and after the course

26.1 Sharing of personal information and on course exercises and coaching sessions

You will have the opportunity to take part in on course exercises and practice of the techniques taught on the course. Please make sure you are happy to share information and if in any doubt about what to volunteer for check with our trainers. Please ensure you only volunteer for practice sessions and on course demonstrations if you are happy to. Our trainers where time allows may work with you 121 at your request. The nature of our work includes hypnotherapy and NLP where fast and rapid change can be achieved. Rapid change can provoke emotional instability and leave students feeling volatile and unstable for a period of time following the session. This is also common when working with clients using clinical hypnosis and NLP. Please only request 121 work or for practice sessions after you have considered the outcomes and consequences seriously. The NLP Coaching company assumes no responsibility in these circumstances.

27.1 Student Behaviour On Course

We reserve the right to remove students from any of our courses if their behaviour is affecting the performance as a whole. This includes disruption to the group, not respecting course etiquette, disrespecting your trainer instructions, not meeting course timings, lateness and un ethical unprofessional and disruptive behaviour.
In any of these circumstances students will forfeit course fees and deposit payments made. The course director will make the decision and you will receive an email outlining the reasons you’ve been asked to leave the course

28.1 Certification and Accreditation

Multi Accreditation

We know how important it is to ensure our courses offer all our delegates the best qualifications the industry has to offer. To be truly unique we are the only training college that offers all students “multi accreditation” on all our face to face courses.

29.1 What is Multi Accreditation?

Multi Accreditation means you can gain qualifications from several different sources. In our case we combine

a) Industry leading professional qualifications accredited by BathH The British Association of Hypnotherapists and NLP Practitioners (the oldest membership body in the UK founded in 1953) The GHR and GHSC

Membership Options

Graduates can obtain membership with The Association For Coaching, the Life Coaching Directory and ICF and full acceptance at Professional Practitioner Level to ANLP the global association of NLP. This is subject to the study options you choose. Please check with us if any doubt.

Full Accreditation Options

For students studying clinical hypnotherapy you will be able to join the CNHC through our accrediting body BathH. and the GHR. For UK and international students we are accredited members of IPHM the International practitioners of holistic medicine and ACCPH Accredited counsellors, coaches, psychotherapists and hypnotherapists. Our life coaching courses are accredited through the ICF CCE credentialing scheme. We are able to guarantee our accreditation options above as our courses are reviewed annually in line with our accredited member status.

b) External accreditation through the ACCPH Accredited Counsellors, Coaches, Psychotherapists and Hypnotherapists and the GHR general hypnotherapy register

The difference between externally accredited courses and membership body’s

Accredited courses means our courses have been externally accredited by different body’s reflecting course quality, length of hours, duration of course and enables the student to use accrediting body’s logso’s and letters applicable after their name.

Membership options means students can join the membership body’s listed without the course they’ve completed being externally accredited by the membership body concerned. Membership levels vary and should be checked with us prior to course commencement so the current membership criteria can be established with each membership option.

All our accrediting bodies will be featured on our website at the time of booking your course. We have chosen the accrediting membership bodies we believe are the best the industry has to offer. Whilst every effort is made to maintain long term relationships with all of our accrediting bodies and offer you the agreed accreditation available at your enrolment that was agreed at the inception of your course we are unable to guarantee accreditation to any of our advertised membership bodies if matters arise outside of our control.

Membership body dissolves
Membership body is bought out by another similar body
Membership body changes its accreditation criteria
Force Majuere.

We will write and notify all students if such a situation occurs

29.3 – Course Extensions – All course extensions must be approved by the life practice academy / NLP Coaching Company

We have a maximum time limit for completion for all courses of 2 years. This will be ample time to complete even our biggest courses at level 6 certification. Students can apply for a time extension for their course of up to 6, 12,18 months

You can apply for a course extension of 6 12 or 18 months. 18 months is the maximum offered.

For all BRONZE online students a charge will be made of

£795 plus vat for up to 6 months

£995 plus vat for up to 12 months will be charged

£1495 plus vat for up to 18 months

For all SILVER online students as personal tutoring is included a charge of

£995 plus vat for 6 months will be charged

£1495 plus vat for 12 months will be charged

£1995 plus vat for up to 18 months will be charged

For all GOLD online students as personal tutoring and live training is included a charge of

£1995 plus vat for 6 months will be charged

£2495 plus vat for 12 months will be charged

£2995 plus vat for up to 18 months will be charged

For all face to face students – Maximum tie extension 1 year

£2000 plus vat practitioner course extension

£4000 plus vat masters course extension

£8000 plus vat full diploma course extension

The Life Practice academy / NLP Coaching company will conduct regular checks and invoice students when course extensions become due. Failure to pay extension fees will result in you being removed from your course

Once a student has opted for a course extension and paid their fees there are no cancellation or transfer options and the extension period will expire at the agreed time. You can apply for as many extensions as required but please note each one will be payable separately

Free monthly payment plans are available on all course extensions. The maximum term for your payment plan will be the equivalent to the time extended

30 – Pre course work

You will be emailed your pre course work, course manuals, workbooks, course maps, course handouts and course videos upon booking and the full completion of a course application form. It is your sole responsibility to complete your course work in full prior to your attendance. We offer a free pre course 121 to all our students. If you are in any doubt about pre course requirements please raise at your pre course 121, call us on 01462431112 or email us at karen@lifepractice.co.uk. If you fail to complete your course work and this impacts on other students you may be asked to leave the course. In these circumstances you will not receive any refund of course fees. We may try and book you on another course to give you more time to complete the pre course work and requirements however each case will taken on its merits.

31 – Course core competency final assessment

This 2 to 3 hour in depth assessment is covered in your course fees. If you cancel this assessment once the date has been confirmed by both you and the academy there will be a charge of £300 + vat for second and subsequent course final assessments. This covers the cost of tutor and assessors time.

32 – Additional charges incurred

Change of course date face to face and virtual only £150.00 + VAT

Invoice reminders / final reminder £25.00 + VAT

Modules started and a cancellation is requested and agreed £495.00 per module.

Where students request duplicate certificates a charge is made of £7.50 + VAT per certificate and accreditation certificates ACCPH £50.00 + VAT. This is to cover admin time. All original certification is paid for by the academy

Failed instalment payment £50 + vat

Request to set up a new instalment plan £75 + vat

Request to change payment dates £75 + vat

Second or more core competency assessment £300 + vat

33 – The terms and conditions found here apply to all courses purchased through the following training schools and academy’s. These terms of business form part of the contract that comes into force once a student enrols onto any of our courses. You are unable to go through our enrolment process without reading, signing and confirming you agree in full to our terms and conditions.

34 – Please note VAT

The NLP Coaching Co is part of the Life Practice UK Group and all awards and certification has been gained via the LPUKA as the NLP Coaching Co is the training arm and sister company of the Life Practice UK

- The NLP Coaching co de registered from VAT 1/3/19

- The NLP Coaching co applied for VAT for 1/10/19

- The NLP Coaching Company de registered for VAT due to COVID 19 from 1/6/2020 due to a lack of demand for face to face training. Any 121 fees were taken through the life practice during these dates and the life practice has been registered for VAT permanently.

- From 1/4 all new students joining the nlp coaching company will make payment through the life practice ltd and payments will be subject to VAT

35 – Our contract comes into force once a student enrols onto any of our courses. You are unable to go through our enrolment process without reading, signing and confirming you agree in full to our terms and conditions. A hard copy of these terms and conditions will also be sent to you for completion, signature and return.

36 – All our courses include an assessment process to confirm our students meet the learning outcomes of the course and achieve the course core competencies found in the course outcomes.

The format of that assessment process is determined by the type of course undertaken.

We train, assess and certify students to foundation, practitioner and mastery level courses and levels 1 to 6 diploma level. Our courses are externally accredited and competence is confirmed at graduation which is confirmed by the appropriate certification being issued to the student at this time.

Please note Post graduation it is up to the individual student to buy insurance and we can assume no responsibility for the results, client performance, or any incident relation to the students competence being called into question post graduation when students are working in their own coaching business working with private clients post course.

Following graduation It is up to each of our graduates to ensure they keep their own competence up to date via the appropriate CPD programmes, and ongoing regular checks and training.
