I have been coaching individuals from all walks of life for many years now and most of them all have a number of things in common. Despite most of them knowing they should have a life plan, 90% of them don’t and of those that do most fail to achieve their goals. A simple task in principle proves far more difficult in practice.

The first action an experienced coach will know when coaching their client in how to regain control of their life will be to write a plan. The moment you write a plan psychologically you are back on the front foot and back in control. Amazing isn’t it, the minute you commit your ideas to a plan from your head onto paper, is the moment you regain control of your life and are back in the game.

Achieving your goals, even big goals, doesn’t require brilliance or talent. It does, however, require determination and tenacity, and most of all, a realistic action plan. As they say… if you fail to plan, you plan to fail. Many small-business owners are wishful thinkers, full of big ideas. They spend hours talking and dreaming about what they’d like to accomplish, but never in concrete terms. They repeat the same ineffective activities over and over, and then wonder why they are not getting anywhere.

Making an Action Plan is the number one secret to effective goal setting; regardless of what your goal is, the key to reaching it is always the same. The best, perhaps the only, way to turn an abstract goal into an attainable reality is to create an action plan; a nitty-gritty, no-nonsense action plan.



This Course Will

  • This course will help you to create your goals for the first quarter of of the year. That’s 90 days! By breaking the time frame down to 90 days you will allow yourself time to work SMART. More about that later. So ask yourself these questions:
